- Choose your test centreSearch for the centre you want by name. Waits differ a lot between centres that are close together, so it is worth looking at our waiting times table before you pick.
- Pick the months that suit youChoose every month you could take a test. The more you choose, the more dates we can offer you.
- Add your detailsEnter your name, licence number and mobile number. You can add more later if you do not have it all with you.
- Check and confirmLook over what you have entered and confirm. There is no payment at this stage.
- Wait for your messageWhen a date comes up that matches, we tell you by SMS and WhatsApp. Reply YES to take it, or NO and we keep looking.
- Pay only when you take a testYou only pay once we have found you a test and you have said yes to it.

Why book your driving test this way

Once your test is booked
- Tell your instructor the date and time straight away so they can keep their car free.
- Know the change rules. A car test can be changed twice. Changing or cancelling without losing the fee needs 10 full working days' notice. You can only move to one of the three centres nearest to where the test is booked, or back to the one you first chose.
- Get ready for the day. Take your provisional licence with you, and make sure the car you are using is legal for a test.
