What to look for in a cancellation checker
If you're comparing services, these are the questions worth asking before you pay anything.
- Does it watch, or does it just search when you open it? An app you have to open is really still you doing the checking.
- How does it reach you? A message you'll actually see beats a notification buried under everything else.
- What happens to a date you don't want? You should be able to say no without losing anything.
- When do you pay? A monthly fee runs whether or not you ever get a date.
- Can you cover more than one centre? Two centres you can reach beats one you can't get into.
Before you change anything. You can only hold one test at a time, and you'll need at least 10 full working days' notice to cancel without losing your fee. Car tests can only be changed 2 times.

Do driving test cancellation apps actually work?
They do find dates, because the dates are real. The catch is what happens next. An app tells you a date exists and then leaves the booking to you, so you're racing everyone else who got the same alert. If you're driving, working or asleep when it arrives, it's usually gone by the time you look.
What's the difference between a cancellation checker and what you do?
A checker watches and tells you. We watch, tell you, and keep going until you have a date you're happy with. You reply YES or NO to each one, so you're never committed to a date that doesn't suit you.
Is there a free driving test cancellation checker?
The official booking service is free to search yourself, and that is the only genuinely free option. Anything that watches for you costs something, either a monthly fee or, in our case, nothing until we've actually found you a test.
Do I need to install an app?
No. Everything arrives as an SMS and a WhatsApp message on the phone you already look at, and we ring you for a date only days away. There's nothing to download and nothing to keep logged in.
Can a checker hold a date for me?
No service can reserve a date in advance. Dates are taken in the order people get to them, which is why how fast you hear about one matters more than anything else.
What if I don't like the date you find?
Reply NO and we keep looking. You only pay when you've said yes to a date, so turning one down costs you nothing.
